eStatement refers to CDS account holders receiving: notices, CDS statement of accounts and any other forms of communication
from Bursa Malaysia Depository
electronically, as opposed to hard copies of these documents being delivered using ordinary mail by Pos Malaysia.
You may apply directly at the Bursa Malaysia website
or you may sign up for this facility at the CDS Department of your stockbroking firm
. However, the first option is only for individual investors with the unique password phrase available in their CDS statements.
If your eStatement application is successful, you may then access the PDF file, once you have received it via your registered email. Please note that you will only receive a
monthly statement of account in respect of the preceding month which has an
entry in the CDS account. However, when there are no entries but there are
shares in your CDS account, Bursa Depository shall only issue the statement in the
month of June and December.
To access your eStatement, key-in the Default
Password in capital letters, which comprises the first two characters of your
name as reflected in our Central Depository System (CDS) based on your
Application for Opening of Account form and the last six digits/alphanumeric of
your NRIC/passport number.

Default Password is CH101234

If you wish to revert your e-statement to hard copy, you will need to complete
and submit the prescribed form to your stock broker where your CDS account is
maintained. The forms are available at the stock broking company.
